The Association of Distributors of Tool and Machine Tool (VOV) is a nation-wide trade association with about 80 member companies. The companies within this line are represented on the Danish market as importers, distributors, representatives and subsidiary companies of international manufacturers of tool and machine tool.
The member companies are suppliers to the Danish industry of all kinds of tool and machine tool and accessories, equipment, spare parts etc. as well and not at least technical and professional know-how and expertise within the line.
The major part of the leading companies within this line are members of VOV. For more than 50 years the association has been the meeting place for the exchange of expertise and inspiration.
The aim of the association is:
- to promote the cooperation between the members and make a loyal and collegiate spirit in the competition
- to handle the interets within the line regarding the legislative and the executive power

The management of VOV is the Executive Committee representing the various professional areas of the association.
The association has 4 study groups within the following areas:
- The Combined Group (tools, spare parts etc. not represented in the other groups)
- The Machine Group
- The Metrology Group
- The Senior Group (for retired employees within the line)

In cooperation with the Danish Professional Fairs and Exhibitions the VOV are arranging the Metal Exhibition in Fredericia and the Measurement and Quality Exhibition in Odense.
The VOV Association is member of:
- The European Association CELIMO, The European Liaison Committee of Machine Tool Importers
- The Danish Chamber of Commerce
